Is This Site Basically Cooked at This Point?

Hey everyone, I’m just putting this out there because I’m feeling pretty frustrated with how things have gone recently on the site, and I wanted to ask if anyone else is experiencing the same issues... Because, for the life of me, I can’t figure out what’s going on.

For the last while, I’ve been uploading content, videos, images, and everything else, onto this platform. I’d put hours into curating and uploading the content, and I thought I was building a decent little archive of things that could be shared with others. But all of a sudden, the site seems to have gone through a complete transformation, and it’s got me questioning if it’s even worth continuing to use.

For those of you who aren’t aware, the site is now basically just pictures, and the videos that used to be accessible are nowhere to be found. I’ve spent a huge amount of time saving videos and reposting them on this site, thinking that I was building up my contributions to the community. But now, after not even a year of having that content hosted there, it’s almost completely inaccessible. I can’t even view my own uploaded videos anymore, and it’s incredibly frustrating.

What makes it even worse is that I know those videos are still hosted on the site, they’re just not visible to me. I’ve tried accessing them multiple times, both on my own account and through other means, but they just won’t show up. I’ve even checked my public profile, and of course, nothing is there. It feels like all that work, all that time spent saving and uploading, was a total waste. And don’t even get me started on the fact that I can’t even download my own content anymore. This should be a basic feature, being able to download the content that you’ve uploaded, but nope.

I get it if they’ve made changes to the site, but at least offer us the option to access or download our own uploaded content. It’s not like we’re asking for something unreasonable. If I want to take my content elsewhere, I should have that right, especially when it’s still hosted on the site.

I’ve seen others bring up similar concerns, but I’m curious, has anyone found any solutions or workarounds to these problems? Am I just completely out of luck here, or is there some way I can at least access my content again? Is there some kind of update or maintenance going on that I’ve missed, or has the whole site just been completely reworked without any real communication to the users?

I don’t know what the future holds for this site, but right now, it just feels like a huge letdown. I’d appreciate any feedback from the community or the admins if anyone’s got a clearer picture of what’s happening. I’m just trying to figure out if it’s worth continuing to use or if I need to start looking for a better platform for my content.

At the very least, I hope the team can allow us to download our own uploads again. It’s honestly the least they could do given how things are right now.
